How to prevent emails from friends ending up in your Spam folder by accident.

When good email goes to spam

To teach new good senders


To set this up:

  1. Create a new Mail Folder called "Whitelist"
  2. Create a new List called "Whitelist"
  3. Create a new Filter:
    • When mail arrives in folder "Spam"
    • And From In List "Whitelist"
    • Move Message to "INBOX"
  4. Create a new Filter:
    • When mail arrives in folder "Whitelist"
    • Add Sender to List "Whitelist"
  5. Populate your Whitelist with your address book (copy and paste all addresses).
  6. Next time when an email is marked as spam from a friend, it will be automatically moved back to the Inbox.
